Pak Army saves lives in Chitral coach accident despite harsh conditions
UPPER CHITRAL: Despite difficult roads and severe weather, the Pakistan Army remains committed to serving the public, as shown in a recent rescue operation in Upper Chitral.
A Flying Coach bus traveling from Peshawar to Chitral met with an accident near Koragh, along the riverbank. The bus had 13 passengers on board. Sadly, 2 people lost their lives and several others were injured.
The Pakistan Army responded promptly, providing first aid to the injured at the scene. Rescue teams then transferred the injured to THQ Hospital Booni for further treatment.
Despite the harsh weather and challenging terrain, the Army successfully completed the rescue operation, ensuring all passengers were moved to a safe location and provided with warm clothing.
Local residents thanked the Pakistan Army for their timely and effective assistance, praising the dedication and commitment of the troops.
This incident highlights the Army’s continuous readiness to help civilians, even in extreme conditions.
