Punjab Education Department Announces January 19 School Reopening

Public and private schools in Punjab will reopen on January 19 after the end of the winter vacation.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has confirmed that the holidays will not be extended further and educational institutions will open on the scheduled date.

Meanwhile, the School Education Department has decided to take strict measures to improve cleanliness and educational standards.

The Secretary of Education will conduct surprise school visits across the province to ensure that immediate action is taken in case of any negligence. The DEA and the concerned CEO will be held responsible in case of negligence of the school.

The Education Department has made it clear that there will be no compromise on cleanliness and educational standards in schools. All district education officers have been directed to ensure immediate implementation of the orders.
