Shab-e-Meraj: President, PM, and Sindh CM Call for Unity and Prayer

President Asif Ali Zardari stated that Shab-e-Meraj conveys a profound message of unity, steadfastness, and hope. He emphasized that this blessed night teaches the Ummah the strength of faith, piety, and the significance of spiritual closeness to Allah. The President offered special prayers for peace, national security, harmony, and the sustainable development of the country.

The prime minister extended his heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the spiritual occasion of Shab-e-Meraj. He prayed that Allah Almighty grant everyone the opportunity to benefit from the spiritual dignity of this night, which holds immense religious importance.

Reflecting on the honor bestowed upon Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) by Allah, the Prime Minister called upon the nation to bow before the Almighty in gratitude. He urged citizens to offer special prayers for the homeland, asking that Allah make Pakistan a permanent cradle of peace, stability, progress, and prosperity.

In his message on the occasion of 27th Rajab, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah described the journey of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) as a magnificent manifestation of Allah’s power and the unparalleled glory of the Prophet (PBUH). He noted that the Night of Miraj stands as one of the greatest miracles in Islamic history, representing a faith-building spiritual revolution for all of humanity.

The chief minister highlighted that this journey perfectly expressed the exalted status of Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) and bestowed upon the Muslim Ummah the great blessing of daily prayer. He added that the night provides a comprehensive message of obedience, devotion, and piety. Reminding the nation that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is a mercy for all mankind and a bright lamp of guidance, he urged the public to pray for the unity and peace of the Muslim Ummah. He concluded that following the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the only path to success in this world and the hereafter.
