Expected Ramadan Office Timing 2026 Pakistan

Expected Ramadan Office Timing 2026 Pakistan
As the holy month of Ramadan 2026 approaches, federal government employees in Pakistan are likely to see adjusted office timings. These expected changes aim to help employees observe fasting while managing their work efficiently.
Expected Adjustment of Working Hours
Although the government has not officially confirmed the timings yet, sources suggest that office hours may be reduced by two to three hours during Ramadan.
For offices working five days a week, the anticipated timings are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
For offices operating six days a week, the expected hours could be further reduced to 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
On Fridays, which hold special religious significance, working hours are likely to be 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Purpose of Adjusted Timings
The anticipated reduction in hours is intended to provide relief to employees while ensuring essential government services continue smoothly. It also allows staff to balance work responsibilities with religious obligations during Ramadan.
What Employees Should Know
Employees are advised to stay updated through official notifications from the Establishment Division or their respective departments. Any final timings will be officially communicated before the start of Ramadan, which is expected to begin in early March 2026, depending on moon sighting.
