10 Terrorists Killed in Balochistan Operation, DIG CTD Confirms

Quetta: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has confirmed that 10 terrorists were killed during an operation in Balochistan, DIG CTD Aitzaz Ahmed said on Tuesday. The operation also left 10 CTD officers injured, who were immediately shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.

A large quantity of weapons was recovered from the terrorists during the operation. The seized arms include rocket launchers, submachine guns (SMGs), and explosives. The DIG CTD said the modern weapons found with terrorists raise serious questions about their origin and supply.

He added that forensic analysis of the recovered weapons will be conducted to trace their source and the network behind them. DIG CTD Aitzaz Ahmed also urged the terrorists to lay down their arms and join the mainstream, emphasizing that peace and stability are in the national interest.

He further warned that terrorists were using explosives for mining, which poses a major security threat in the region.
