Smart NICOP renewal fee in Dollars, UAE Dirhams – Jan 2026

ISLAMABAD: Overseas Pakistanis living in the UAE and other countries must keep their NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) valid. An expired NICOP can cause serious issues, especially during travel or official work.

The NICOP is an important document. It proves your identity, Pakistani citizenship, and overseas status. It is accepted as legal proof of Pakistani nationality under the law.

With a valid NICOP, overseas Pakistanis can travel to Pakistan without a visa. The card gives them the same basic rights as Pakistani citizens while living abroad and allows smooth and legal entry into the country.

NICOP Renewal in the UAE

Pakistanis living in the UAE can renew their NICOP in two easy ways:

• Visit the Pakistani Embassy in the UAE

• Apply online using the Pak ID mobile app

If you apply at the embassy, the fee is paid in UAE Dirhams. If you apply through the Pak ID app, the fee is paid in US dollars. According to NADRA, the UAE comes under Zone B.

NICOP Renewal Fees (Zone B)

Fees in US Dollars (Pak ID App):

• Normal: $20 – processing time 31 days

• Urgent: $30 – processing time 23 days

• Executive: $40 – processing time 9 days

Fees in UAE Dirhams (Embassy):

• Normal: AED 75 – processing time 31 days

• Urgent: AED 110 – processing time 23 days

• Executive: AED 150 – processing time 9 days
