Eleven Permanent Judges of Lahore High Court Take Oath

Eleven judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC) officially took their oath of office as permanent members of the judiciary. Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Miss Aalia Neelum, administered the oath during a formal ceremony held on the green lawn of the high court.

The event was attended by high-ranking officials, including Federal Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, the Advocate General of Punjab, the Prosecutor General of Punjab, and several other senior legal professionals.

The judges confirmed as permanent members of the Lahore High Court include Justice Hassan Nawaz Makhdoom, Justice Malik Waqar Haider Awan, Justice Sardar Ali Akbar, and Justice Ahsan Raza Kazmi. Also taking the oath were Justice Malik Owais Khalid, Justice Iqbal Vance, Justice Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Justice Khalid Ishaq, Justice Sultan Mahmood, Justice Tanveer Ahmed Sheikh, and Justice Abhar Gul Khan.
