Pakistan’s security forces have successfully concluded Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 in Balochistan. The operation involved a series of coordinated, intelligence-driven missions against Indian-sponsored terrorist networks targeting civilians, including women and children.

Start of Operation and Initial Successes

On January 29, 2026, security forces launched operations in Panjgur and the outskirts of Harnai District after credible intelligence confirmed terrorist presence. During these initial missions, 41 terrorists associated with Indian proxy networks were eliminated.

The operations were aimed at preventing terrorist attacks designed to destabilize the region and target innocent civilians.

Broader Operations Across Balochistan

Following the initial success, security forces expanded operations to multiple areas. Intelligence-based combing and clearance operations were conducted to dismantle sleeper cells and terror networks.

These actions were carried out with meticulous planning, actionable intelligence, and joint coordination among the Pakistan Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and intelligence organizations.

Outcome of Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1

As a result of the operation:

  • 216 terrorists were killed, significantly weakening their leadership and operational structures.

  • A substantial cache of foreign weapons, ammunition, explosives, and equipment was recovered.

  • Intelligence indicated systematic external support and logistics for these extremist groups.

Sacrifices of Civilians and Security Forces

Tragically, 36 innocent civilians, including women and children, lost their lives during the operations. Additionally, 22 security personnel made the ultimate sacrifice defending Pakistan’s territorial integrity.

The nation honors their courage, professionalism, and dedication to protecting citizens and maintaining peace.

Commitment to Peace and Counter-Terrorism

The Pakistan Armed Forces reaffirmed their commitment to combating terrorism under the Government of Pakistan’s National Action Plan (NAP). Counter-terrorism operations will continue with full determination until all terrorist threats are eliminated.

Operation Radd-ul-Fitna-1 highlights Pakistan’s and Balochistan’s commitment to peace, unity, and development over violence.
