Raqami Islamic Bank Receives Digital License in Islamabad

A digital license granting ceremony for Raqami Islamic Bank was held in Islamabad, where Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif addressed the attendees. During the event, the Prime Minister congratulated the Chairman of the Board and relevant officials on the successful issuance of the license.

He emphasized that the introduction of digital banking is a vital step for Pakistan-Kuwait relations, noting the importance of transforming long-standing political ties into robust economic cooperation.

Highlighting the decades-long brotherly bond between the two nations, the Prime Minister stated that these relations should now be channeled into investment, trade, and broader economic partnerships.
