Punjab Home Department seeks medical records regarding PTI founder

Rawalpindi: The Punjab Home Department has summoned all records regarding Imran Khan’s medical treatment in Adiala Jail. Sources indicate that jail authorities have been instructed to provide a complete chart of his vital signs—including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and blood sugar levels—along with consultant reports specifying the dates and times medical staff examined him.
According to prison officials, the on-duty doctor records his vital signs three times a day. Additionally, the government has formed a panel consisting of two expert doctors from Al-Shifa Eye Hospital, Dr. Nadeem Qureshi and Dr. Amjad, to examine and treat him. This may include shifting him to the hospital for specialized eye care. Sources noted that both doctors on the panel are considered among Pakistan’s top-tier ophthalmologists.
