SSGC Announces Gas Timings for Sehri and Iftar in Karachi for Ramadan 2026

Karachi, February 18, 2026 – Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) has announced a revised gas supply schedule for Karachi and surrounding areas during Ramadan 2026 to help households manage Sehri and Iftar meals.

Under the new plan, gas will be available daily from 3:00 am to 9:00 am for Sehri and from 3:30 pm to 10:00 pm for Iftar. Supply will be suspended outside these hours to balance demand across the network.

SSGC will conduct gas pressure profiling from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and again from 10:00 pm to 3:00 am to improve overall gas management during the holy month.

The company highlighted that Pakistan’s gas reserves are decreasing by around 10 percent annually, which has widened the gap between supply and demand. The revised schedule is designed to ensure consumers have adequate gas during critical cooking hours.

Consumers are advised to plan their gas usage accordingly and report any pressure issues to SSGC through the official helpline.
