Security Forces kill four Indian-backed terrorists in Lakki Marwat

19 February, 2026 19:25

Security forces killed four Indian-backed militants during an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat District on the night between February 18 and 19, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operation was carried out after reports of militants linked to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Khwarij in the area. Troops engaged the militants, and an intense exchange of fire led to the killing of four individuals.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the slain militants, who were reportedly involved in several terrorist activities in the region.

A sanitisation operation is ongoing to remove any other militants believed to be in the area, ensuring the region is fully cleared of threats.

This operation is part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan. ISPR stated that security forces and law enforcement continue to target foreign-supported militants across the country.
