Pakistan Targets Seven Terror Camps in Afghanistan

22 February, 2026 01:47

Reports from various sources indicate that a series of coordinated explosions have struck multiple terrorist hideouts across Afghanistan’s Paktika, Nangarhar, and Khost provinces. According to Afghan media, these incidents were the result of precision airstrikes carried out by jet aircraft. The strikes reportedly achieved their objectives, completely destroying the targeted infrastructure and resulting in numerous terrorist casualties.

Further confirmation surfaced via messages in a social media group associated with the banned TTP, where the deaths of several members were acknowledged. These communications highlighted a specific airstrike in the village of Gardi Kutch, located within the Behsud district of Nangarhar, where a large number of terrorists were reportedly buried under the rubble. While multiple sources confirm significant losses among the militants, no formal civilian casualty figures have been released by Afghan authorities.

The Pakistani Ministry of Information has confirmed that its forces targeted seven terrorist hideouts in various locations across Afghanistan. Pakistan has identified the “Khawarij” leadership based in Afghanistan as the masterminds behind recent major attacks, including those in Bajaur and Bannu. Officials emphasized that tangible evidence exists linking Afghanistan-based handlers to recent suicide bombings and other violent incidents, including a blast that occurred in Bannu during the holy month of Ramadan.

In a direct appeal to the international community, Pakistan stated that the full implementation of the Doha Agreement is now inevitable to ensure regional stability. The Ministry of Information reiterated its long-standing demand that Afghan soil must not be used for terrorism against other nations. Despite repeated warnings and the urging of the Afghan Taliban government to take decisive action, Pakistan maintains that no effective measures have been taken against these groups to date. Pakistan continues to assert its commitment to regional peace while maintaining the right to defend its territory against cross-border threats.
