Islamabad, February 25, 2026 – The Government of Pakistan has launched the PM Ramzan Relief Package 2026 to support low-income families during the holy month of Ramadan. With rising prices of essential goods, this package aims to provide both cash assistance and food subsidies to those in need.

PM Ramzan Relief Package 2026 (Federal Program)

The federal program offers Rs 13,000 one-time cash assistance to eligible households. Beneficiaries also receive subsidies on flour, sugar, ghee, and pulses available at Utility Stores.

Eligibility:

• Registered with BISP or have a low PMT poverty score

• Priority for low-income households

How to Check Eligibility:

1. Via SMS: Send your 13-digit CNIC (without dashes) to 9999 or 5566.

2. Online: Visit pmrrp.nitb.gov.pk, enter your CNIC, and submit to check your status.

Nigehban Ramzan Package (Punjab Only)

Punjab residents can benefit from the Nigehban Ramzan Package, launched by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Benefits:

Eligibility:

• Permanent Punjab residency

• Monthly income below Rs 60,000

Status messages include:

• Eligible – Wait for SMS on payment

• Under Verification – Check again after 2-3 days
