Massive Fire Erupts at Textile Factory in Karachi SITE Area

A fire broke out at a textile factory in Karachi’s SITE Area industrial zone.

Chief Fire Officer Humayun Ahmed stated that six fire tenders are currently working to control the blaze. Fire brigade officials have declared it a third-degree fire, prompting a call for additional fire tenders from across the city. Snorkels and water bowsers have also been dispatched to the scene.

Meanwhile, IG Sindh Javed Alam ordered police officials to reach the factory immediately. According to a formal statement, the IG has also directed that security be maintained for the affected factory and its surrounding areas.
