Islamabad Red Zone new traffic plan updated – check here

The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has released a traffic advisory on March 2 regarding entry into the Red Zone.

According to the advisory, people can enter the Red Zone only through Margalla Road and the Marriott Hotel route. All other roads leading to the Red Zone will remain closed until further notice.

Drivers coming from Club Road have been advised to take Kashmir Chowk and then use Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue, and Margalla Road to reach their destination.

Similarly, those traveling from Barakahu have also been directed to use Kashmir Chowk and follow Srinagar Highway, Seventh Avenue, and Margalla Road for entry.

Citizens who need traffic updates can call the emergency helpline at 15 or the Traffic Helpline at 1915. Live traffic information is also available on ITP FM 92.4 to help people plan their routes easily.
