PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Air Force carried out airstrikes under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq (Righteous Fury), targeting Afghan Taliban’s 313 Corps infrastructure in Kabul, according to security sources.

State-run APP News reported that the strikes were conducted in response to unprovoked aggression by the Afghan Taliban.

During the night of March 12–13, Pakistan targeted four terrorist hideouts, including military installations linked to the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khwarij. The 313 Corps infrastructure in Kabul was destroyed. Another strike targeted the Tarawo terrorist camp in Kandahar, dismantling militant facilities.

The strikes also destroyed an oil storage site at Kandahar Airfield and nearby logistics infrastructure. In a separate operation, the Sherinaw terrorist camp in Paktia province was successfully targeted.

Security officials said that operations under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq will continue until the objectives are achieved.

Earlier, Pakistan’s ambassador to the UN Security Council, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, stated that these counter-terrorism operations are aimed only at neutralizing terrorist threats and are not directed against the Afghan people.

He also criticized India, saying it should stop supporting terrorism inside Pakistan from Afghan soil, now allegedly with support from the Taliban regime.
