CTD Conducts Intelligence-Based Operation in Lakki Marwat, 6 Terrorists Killed

Lakki Marwat: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Bannu region carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Shagai area of Lakki Marwat, resulting in the deaths of six terrorists.

According to CTD sources, the operation involved a gunfight with terrorists that lasted about 40 minutes. During the encounter, six militants were killed, while several others managed to flee the scene.

The CTD confirmed that the identities of the deceased terrorists are being verified. Weapons and explosives recovered from the terrorists’ possession include four Kalashnikov rifles, two pistols, eight hand grenades, and an IED.
