LAHORE – March 2026: The Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, has launched the Bewa Sahara Card 2026 program to provide financial assistance to widowed women across the province.

Under this welfare scheme, eligible widows will receive financial support ranging from Rs100,000 to Rs150,000. The initiative aims to help low-income widows manage household expenses and support their children.

According to officials, registration started in February 2026 and will remain open until March 14, 2026. Applications can be submitted online or through designated registration centers.

Financial Assistance Under Bewa Sahara Card 2026

The Punjab government has designed a structured support system based on family needs.

  • Rs100,000 – Base financial grant

  • Rs125,000 – For widows supporting one child (Rs25,000 extra)
