Pakistan’s armed forces have continued a series of air operations in Afghanistan under the banner of Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq, targeting what security sources describe as militant infrastructure and military installations.
According to security officials, Pakistani forces carried out coordinated airstrikes on the night of 16 March, hitting several locations in Kabul and Nangarhar believed to be linked to the Afghan Taliban.
Security sources said that in Kabul, the airstrikes successfully targeted two separate sites used for technical support operations and ammunition storage. The strikes reportedly caused significant damage to the facilities.
Officials added that large flames and explosions observed after the attack indicated the presence of a major ammunition depot at the targeted location. According to the sources, the secondary detonations confirmed that the site contained a substantial stockpile of explosives.
Security officials also dismissed comments made by Zabihullah Mujahid, who alleged that a drug treatment hospital had been targeted. A security source described the claim as “Ridiculous”.
In Nangarhar, Pakistani forces reportedly struck four additional locations associated with Taliban military installations. Security officials said that logistical infrastructure connected to these facilities was also destroyed during the air operations, including ammunition supplies and technical support equipment.
According to security sources, operations under Operation Ghazab-Lil-Haq will continue until the designated objectives are achieved.
