BISP launches facial recognition for easier payments

Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), has shared important news for women who face problems with thumb verification (BVS).

Now, BISP and NADRA have introduced a facial recognition system. Women whose thumbs cannot be verified can now complete verification using their face.

How to Complete Verification

1. Take your original CNIC to the nearest NADRA mobile registration van or NADRA office.

2. If thumb verification still fails, NADRA will verify your identity using facial recognition.

3. NADRA will issue a certificate after verification. A fee of Rs. 20 is required.

4. Bring this certificate to your nearest BISP office and register it.

5. You will receive a confirmation message on your mobile.

6. After a few days, you will get a message from 8171 confirming that your money has been transferred.

7. You can then collect your funds from the nearest BISP payment center.

This new system makes it easier for women beneficiaries to receive their BISP support even if they have problems with thumb verification.
