Global Oil Market Surges After Israel–Iran Energy Strikes
Oil prices rose in the global market after Israel attacked an Iranian gas field and Iran retaliated by targeting an oil refinery in Qatar.
The price of British crude oil in the global market increased by 7% to $111 per barrel, while the price of US crude oil increased by 3.1%, after which the new price of US crude oil became $99.3 per barrel.
