Islamabad Traffic Police to get new uniform and modern vehicles

ISLAMABAD – Authorities have decided to update the uniform of the Islamabad Traffic Police as part of a plan to improve and modernize the city’s traffic system.

According to reports, the new uniform will be in black and grey colors. The change will happen in two phases. In the first phase, office staff will receive the new uniforms. In the second phase, the field staff will also get the updated dress.

Along with the new uniforms, the traffic police will also get modern electric SUVs. These vehicles are built by a Chinese company and come with advanced features to help improve traffic control and efficiency.

Reports say that around a dozen of these electric vehicles will be used on major roads in Islamabad during Eid. The aim is to provide better travel facilities for citizens and ensure smooth traffic flow across the city.
