Global Easter Celebrations Take Place Including Pakistan

Christians around the world, including Pakistan, are celebrating the festival of Easter today.

Christians are celebrating the festival of Easter today, for which prayer services have been organized in churches.

On this occasion, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have also congratulated the Christian community.

The President said that this day conveys a clear message of compassion, hope, renewal, salvation and the victory of good over evil. Christian men and women are serving in our schools, hospitals, government institutions and armed forces. The Christian community in Pakistan is valued and respected.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister said that he prays that this day of joy brings peace, stability, and prosperity to the Christian community, our country, and the world. In the current tense situation, the education and encouragement of peace among all religions has become even more important.

He further said that ensuring the religious, economic, and educational rights of all citizens, especially minorities, is among the government’s priorities.
