ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority has introduced a new and easier way for parents to apply for their children’s B-Form (Child Registration Certificate).
Now, parents can submit applications for the B-Form from home using the Pak-ID mobile app, without visiting NADRA offices. This step is aimed at saving time and reducing long queues at registration centres.
Under the new rules, children up to the age of three do not need to provide a photograph. However, once a child turns three, a photo becomes necessary.
For children aged 10 to 18 years, biometric verification will now be required. This includes fingerprint and iris scans to improve identity security.
B-Form Fees
NADRA has kept the standard fee at Rs. 50, with a processing time of around 7 days. An executive service is also available for Rs. 500, which allows the B-Form to be processed in just one day.
Overall, the new system is designed to make the registration process faster, easier, and more convenient for parents across Pakistan.
