Ishaq Dar Reaffirms Pakistan’s Commitment to Facilitate Iran-US Talks

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar says Pakistan will continue to facilitate Iran-US talks.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Ishaq Dar on the latest situation in the region, in which Pakistan’s role in the Iran-US talks for peace and stability in the region was reiterated.

Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that efforts for peace in the region and beyond will continue.

Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan’s position on the Iran-US negotiation process is only statements issued by official sources, and unverified references have no bearing on it.

He further said that anonymous Pakistani officials or information circulating on social media does not reflect Pakistan’s position, and the media should avoid speculation and rely only on authentic official statements.
