Karachi: Following the increase in the prices of petroleum products, the Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance has announced an increase in fares.

The Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance has strongly reacted to the government’s recent increase in the prices of petroleum products and announced a 10% increase in freight vehicle fares.

Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance President Malik Shahzad Awan strongly condemned the price hike and said that the country is facing a storm of inflation due to the continuous increase in the prices of petroleum products.

The president of the Pakistan Goods Transport Alliance said that the transport business has already been severely affected, and transporters are operating their vehicles at a loss.

Malik Shahzad Awan further said that in the current circumstances, it is no longer possible to operate at the old fares, due to which the fares for goods transport are being forced to be increased by 10%.

He demanded that the government immediately reduce prices so that the common man and the business community can get relief.
