PM Shehbaz Condemns Shooting at Washington Event

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed concern over the shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a statement issued on X, said that he expressed his deep shock over the disturbing shooting incident that occurred during the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner in Washington, DC.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that it is good to know that President Donald Trump, the First Lady, and other participants are well. My prayers and best wishes are with them, and I pray for their continued safety and well-being.

On the other hand, President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the shooting incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and expressed satisfaction that President Donald Trump and the First Lady were safe.

President Asif Ali Zardari said that this sad incident is a heinous form of terrorism that deserves no amount of condemnation.
