Pakistan Eid-ul-Adha date prediction by Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council

This year, Eid-ul-Adha is likely to be celebrated in Pakistan on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.

According to Khalid Ejaz Mufti, secretary general of the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council, the birth of the new moon will occur on the night between May 16 and 17.

On the evening of May 17, the age of the moon will be more than 18 hours in most areas. If the information remains clear, the moon will be sighted on May 17 and the first of Zil-Hijjah will be on May 18 and Eid-ul-Adha will be on May 27.

If the moon is not sighted on May 17, then Zul-Qa’d will be 30 days old and Eid will be on Thursday, May 28. However, the final decision will be taken by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
