On 28 May 2026 (Today), is being observed Youm-e-Takbeer all over the Pakistan to honor the historic of our country’s significant nuclear explosions held on May 28, 1998. It is commemorated every year to mark Pakistan’s emergence as a nuclear-armed state reflecting the country’s strength and sense of security.
In 1998 on this day, Pakistan held nuclear tests in the Chagai Hills Balochistan in a response to India’s earlier nuclear tests. Consequently, Pakistan emerged as the seventh nuclear power nd the first Muslim country with nuclear weapons. It was largely look upon as a major progression in enhancing national defence strength.
The innovation is commonly related to the vision of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who arranged the foundation of the nuclear programme.
