Bilawal Bhutto Directs PPP Gilgit-Baltistan Leadership to Focus on Public Service

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari chaired an important meeting of the party’s Gilgit-Baltistan leadership at the Chief Minister House. During the meeting, PPP officials presented reports related to the elections and shared recommendations for improving administrative matters.

Bilawal Bhutto directed party representatives to remain connected with the public and said the government should not operate from closed rooms. He emphasized the need for leaders to stand with people and address their concerns directly.

The PPP chairman called for the preparation of a 100-day development plan for Gilgit-Baltistan and instructed officials to submit performance reports. He also directed the implementation of legislation regarding ownership rights and called for a resolution on the issue of rights and authority to be presented in the first session of the assembly.

Bilawal Bhutto further instructed party officials to complete groundwork for local government elections in Gilgit-Baltistan without delay. He stressed the importance of effective governance, development initiatives, and stronger public engagement.
