PML-F Slams Fuel Price Hike, Calls Decision Anti-People

Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) senior leader Kunwar Wajahat Ali Khan has strongly criticized the recent increase in petroleum prices, describing it as an anti-people decision that will further burden citizens already struggling with inflation. He said the government has dropped another “economic bomb” on the public at a time when the cost of living continues to rise.

Kunwar Wajahat Ali Khan said the increase in fuel prices would trigger further hikes in the prices of essential commodities, transportation fares, and other daily necessities, making life even more difficult for low- and middle-income families. He urged the government to immediately review its decision and take practical measures to provide relief to the public instead of adding to their financial hardships.

The PML-F leader emphasized that sustainable economic policies should focus on reducing inflation and protecting the purchasing power of ordinary citizens. He warned that continued increases in the prices of petroleum products and other essentials would deepen public hardships and called on the government to prioritize the welfare of the people.
