Maryam Aurangzeb Says PML-N Will Continue Development Agenda in Azad Kashmir

Senior Punjab Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said the people of Kashmir had expressed strong confidence in former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, describing the election outcome as a reflection of public trust in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Addressing a public gathering in Rawalpindi, she congratulated the party on its victory in Mirpur Division and said the PML-N remained committed to the politics of public service and development.
Maryam Aurangzeb said the PML-N had always prioritized the development and prosperity of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. She credited Nawaz Sharif with eliminating terrorism and ending prolonged electricity load-shedding during his tenure, adding that the party would further accelerate development projects across Azad Kashmir.
She said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was giving special attention to the progress and welfare of Azad Kashmir, with public welfare initiatives continuing under his leadership. Maryam Aurangzeb added that the PML-N would carry forward the journey of development through the strength of the people’s vote and expressed confidence that the party would achieve another decisive victory in the next phase of the Azad Kashmir elections.
