President Zardari, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Discuss Security Situation

President Asif Ali Zardari met Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Karachi to discuss the overall law and order situation, with special focus on security in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi briefed the president on the security situation in both provinces and the government’s measures against terrorism.

President Zardari praised the professional capabilities and sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and police in the fight against terrorism. He said the nation stands with the security forces in efforts to eliminate terrorism and establish lasting peace.

The meeting also included discussions on the political situation and other important national issues of mutual interest.
