Pakistan Air Force Day Being Observed Today

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Air Force Day is being observed today, September 7, to pay tribute to the martyrs and veterans of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and honour their contribution to the defence of the country.

September 7 carries particular significance in Pakistan’s military history, commemorating the role played by PAF personnel during the 1965 war, when Pakistani pilots and aircrews demonstrated what the country describes as exceptional courage, professional skill and determination.

The day is marked to honour the martyrs and those who served in defence of Pakistan’s airspace and national sovereignty. The professionalism, discipline and commitment of PAF personnel continue to hold a prominent place in Pakistan’s military heritage.
