Fresh Evidence Emerges of Fitna al-Hindustan and BYC Nexus

QUETTA: Fresh evidence has emerged regarding the alleged links between Fitna al-Hindustan and the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) following an alleged confession by an individual identified as Muhammad Ilyas.

According to the statement attributed to Ilyas, he had been associated with Fitna al-Hindustan as well as the BYC.

He also said he had played an active role in promoting Fitna al-Hindustan’s narrative and propaganda through social media.

Alleged Social Media Activities

In his recorded statement, Ilyas said he used videos and photographs on social media to influence and mislead members of the public.

He further said he participated in BYC rallies and gatherings, where he raised slogans and delivered speeches against the state.

Pakistani authorities have presented these statements as evidence of alleged coordination between Fitna al-Hindustan and BYC.

Authorities Allege Wider Network

Officials said several other individuals previously identified as terrorists or operatives had also disclosed alleged links between BYC and Fitna al-Hindustan.

Authorities have described BYC as a “soft face” of Fitna al-Hindustan, alleging that it provides political and social cover for the militant organisation.

BYC has not accepted the allegations in the material provided.

Dispute Over Missing-Persons Lists

Pakistani authorities have also alleged that several Fitna al-Hindustan terrorists killed during security operations had previously appeared on BYC lists of missing persons.

The names cited include Burhan Baloch, Hafeez Baloch, Abdul Hameed, Rashid Baloch, Sohaib Langoo and Kareem Jan.

Authorities argue that the appearance of these individuals on missing-persons lists before their deaths raises questions about their alleged connections with militant networks.

These assertions remain disputed and require independent verification through official records and legal proceedings.

Questions Over Condemnation of Violence

Authorities have also criticised BYC for what they describe as failing to condemn terrorist attacks.

They argue that organisations campaigning for Baloch rights should clearly distance themselves from armed violence and militant activity.

The latest allegations have renewed the debate over the relationship between Fitna al-Hindustan, Baloch political activism and missing-persons campaigns in Balochistan.

While Pakistani authorities maintain that the alleged confession and other evidence demonstrate links between Fitna al-Hindustan and BYC, the allegations remain contested and should be evaluated through independently verifiable evidence and due legal process.
