Lt Gen Nauman Mahmood Appointed First Secretary General of Makkah Defence Alliance

Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has announced the appointment of Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), as the first Secretary General pursuant to the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement (MJDA).

Lieutenant General Nauman Mahmood (Retired) will lead the General Secretariat of the alliance, which is being established in Riyadh.

The appointment marks the establishment of the secretariat for the alliance formed under the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement.
