Pakistan Navy Hangor Submarine Hits Target in First Live Missile Firing

Pakistan Navy submarine Hangor successfully completed its first live weapon firing in the North Arabian Sea while PNS/M Hangor successfully fired a long-range anti-ship cruise missile.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf witnessed the first live weapon firing of PNS/M Hangor, the anti-ship cruise missile hit the target with utmost accuracy.

The successful firing validated the weapon systems and combat readiness of Hangor, and the successful firing of Hangor is an important milestone in the underwater warfare capabilities of the Pakistan Navy.

The Naval Chief appreciated the combat capability of PNS/M Hangor and the professionalism of the crew and said that continuous enhancement of underwater warfare capabilities is essential for operational readiness and reliable defense capability.
