KP Governor Faisal Kundi Vows to Continue Anti-Encroachment Operations

Governor Kundi criticises lack of air ambulance in Swat incident
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi has vowed to continue anti-encroachment operations across the province, saying he is personally monitoring the ongoing action against illegal encroachments.
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Kundi said an operation was underway on Kohat Road in the Garhi Qamar Din area. He rejected suggestions that he had recommended any political figure for special consideration during the action.
The governor said efforts would continue to clear encroachments throughout the province. He also indicated that action would be taken after a report on wheat-related matters was received.
Kundi said work on development projects would be accelerated and that efforts were underway to address the problem of load-shedding.
Rejecting the impression of a confrontation between the federal and provincial administrations, he said there was no dispute between the province and the federation. He also stressed the importance of maintaining constructive relations with all provinces.
The governor further announced that traffic laws would be enforced in Peshawar as part of efforts to improve traffic management and discipline in the city.
His remarks covered several administrative priorities, including urban regulation, infrastructure development, electricity shortages and coordination between federal and provincial authorities.
