People urged to wait for final response of payment date under Ehsas Cash Programme.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Poverty Alleviation Dr. Sania Nishtar has asked all deserving people who are sending SMS on 8171 for cash grant not to rush for payment before the final response of payment date.

In a video message, she said, after scrutiny and confirmation of eligibility, the deserving person would receive the message with date of payment from 8171.
The Special Assistant said payment of 12000 rupees can be received from ATM, designated centers and points.
Earlier, she had said that the government would begin transferring Rs12000 cash from this week under Ehsas programme.
Dr. Sania Nishtar had earlier confirmed that they had received over 34.5 million SMS, in this regard.
Federal government had announced transfer cash assistance of 12,000 rupees to deserving families under Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program.
Special Assistant to the PM on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation also briefed PM on the issue in Peshawar.
She elaborated the measures taken by the government for provision of financial assistance to poor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Imran Khan also distributed cash among the destitute under Ehsas Programme in Peshawar yesterday.
