PM Shehbaz extends ‘warm wishes’ to PM Modi’s third term

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his warm wished to re-elected PM of India, Narendra Modi, and swearing-in ceremony.

The premier shared his of felicitation to Modi through his social media account on X, stating: “felicitations to Modi on taking oath as the Prime Minister of India”.

The Indian prime minister responded by retweeting Shehbaz’s tweet, and thanking him for the “warm wishes”.

“Thank you PM Shehbaz for your good wishes,” he wrote.

Narendra Modi was sworn in as the prime minister of India for the third consecutive term on Sunday, equalling the record set by Jawaharlal Nehru.

However, this time, Modi’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) failed to secure a simple majority, necessitating the formation of a coalition government with support from other parties.
