PM Shehbaz Sharif to visit UAE today

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will make his first official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today after the elections.

According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, the prime minister will make his first official visit to the UAE after the elections, in which the two leaders will discuss bilateral relations, including trade and investment.
The spokesperson added that there will be a high-level delegation of ministers along with the prime minister.

The premier is also expected to meet with Emirati businessmen and heads of financial institutions. According to the spokesman, the brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE are based on religious and cultural values.

In his previous visit, the prime minister had condoled with the president of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the sad demise of his brother Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The prime minister was accompanied by Federal Minister for Finance Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi and Ambassador of Pakistan to the United Arab Emirates Faisal Niaz Tirmizi.
