Member National Assembly (MNA) Rana Sanaullah also spoke on the legislation on the tenure of armed services chiefs.
Although he had earlier stated PMLN don’t want to make it controversial, now he suggested that his party should not have given in to the undue haste which ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf exhibited.
While answering a question, Rana Sanaullah said that PMLN did not give up its narrative emphasizing respect for vote.
However, he said that respecting the sanctity of vote means honoring the mandate which people give.
PMLN leader also accused PTI government of doing politics of revenge and targeting political opponents one by one.

Meanwhile, he also threatened in house change, saying nobody inherits the Prime Minister House. He said PMLN believes in the change through vote.

He further said that the government does not have any policy to eliminate poverty.

The PTI government, with the backing of the PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the two main opposition parties, had legislated on the matter with a near unanimous approval in the parliament.

The move was necessitated by the Supreme Court’s November 28 orders, in which it had directed the federal government to legislate on the matter within six months.
