Prime Minister receives Pakistan Economic Survey 2020-21.

Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin called on Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Thursday.

He presented him Pakistan Economic Survey 2020-21 (report).

Special Assistant on Revenue Waqar Masood also present on the occasion.

Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin to launch the Economic Survey today (Thursday). 

The Economic Survey contains details of major socio-economic achievements during the current fiscal year.

Tarin will perform launch in Islamabad.

The Survey would highlight the main features of the policies undertaken by the present government.

Government focused on bringing macro-economic stability and putting the economy on growth trajectory.

The survey covers the development of all the important sectors of economy.

It includes growth and investment, agriculture, manufacturing, mining, fiscal development, money and credit, capital markets, inflation, debt and liabilities.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan underlined make the people economically self-reliant as government’s foremost priority.

He also noted financial assistance of the downtrodden segment among priority.

He expressed these views, while presiding over a high level meeting of Kamyab Pakistan Programme in Islamabad.

The PM noted it as for the first time in Pakistan that they formulated a comprehensive strategy to steer the economically weaker segments of the society out of poverty.
