Princess Kate breaks late Queen Elizabeth’s secret food rule

Princess Kate Middleton has unknowingly violated a secret royal food rule established by late Queen Elizabeth.

The Duchess of Cambridge accidently shared details about her family’s favorite foods during a visit to the Great Ormond Street Hospital back in 2018.

During a conversation with Rafael Chana, 4, who expressed his fondness for olives, the Princess revealed that she, too, had enjoyed olives as a child.

“I used to eat lots and lots of olives when I was little as well,” she shared.

This remark has now come to light as a breach of a secret rule set by Queen Elizabeth.

According to MyLondon, the Queen liked to keep her personal culinary preferences private to avoid being given her favorite meal at every important function.

The late Queen, known for her appreciation of different cuisine, avoided overtly declaring her preferences for certain cuisines because she enjoyed trying new flavors and did not want her favorite dish to become ubiquitous.

The unintentional violation of this undisclosed food rule by Princess Kate raises intriguing questions about the subtle protocols and traditions within the royal household.

While the late Queen Elizabeth’s unique approach to her favorite dishes was unknown to the public throughout her reign, Princess Kate’s open remark has thrown light on this fascinating aspect of royal dining etiquette.

The Duchess of Cambridge, currently on a break from her royal duties due to her recent cancer diagnosis, has always been known for her down-to-earth nature and relatability.
