PSX soars to all-time high, crosses 76,000 milestone

Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a bullish trend during the first trading session today.

The 100-index gained 956 points to touch the 76,000 level for the first time.

At the end of the first session in the market, the 100 index stood at 760, 70, which is the highest level ever. Over 150 million shares were traded in the first session during the trading.

Last week, the index increased by 574 points during the trading session, taking the 100 index to a new all-time high of 75,000.

Economist Muhammad Sohail said that the 100 index is above 75,000 as foreign purchases are the reason for this new high of the index. MSCI has reviewed its global indices and included one of our companies.
