However, Met office forecast this weather for isolated places in northeast Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan.
Meanwhile, it predicted fog likely to prevail in plain areas of Punjab during night/morning hours.
Cold and dry weather also remains expected elsewhere in the country during the next twelve hours.
Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:
Islamabad and Peshawar four degree centigrade, Karachi nine, Lahore six, Quetta and Gilgit minus four, Murree two and Muzaffarabad one degree centigrade.
