Rain, snowfall start again in parts of Balochistan

After a new spell of heavy westerly winds entered Balochistan, rain and snow started in different areas of the province including Quetta.

The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in 18 districts of the province today.

A new spell of rains started in Balochistan from Tuesday afternoon, after which light rain continued intermittently in Quetta Valley till night, while snowfall started in Ziarat Valley and adjoining areas.

Light rain was also received in other areas of the province including Gwadar and Panjgur.

The weather department has forecast rain with thunderstorm and snowfall on mountains in Quetta, Chaman, Pashin, Qila Saifullah, Qila Abdullah, Ziarat, Zhob, Shirani, Musa Khel, Kalat, Khuzdar, Chagai, Panjgur, Turbat, Washak, Dalbandin, Kharan, Gwadar, Jiwani and Pasni.

On the other hand, citizens and tourists are facing difficulties due to the suspension of gas supply despite increase in the severity of cold weather.
