Multiple records were broken as Pakistan leveled the three-match T20I series against Ireland on Sunday.

The Men in Green put on a remarkable performance chasing 194 thanks to half-centuries from Fakhar Zaman and Mohammad Rizwan at Dublin’s Clontarf Cricket Club.

With the national side levelling the three-match series 1-1, the match held key significance for Babar Azam, Rizwan and Shaheen with regards to their respective careers.

For starters, Babar became the most successful T20I captain in the history of the game with 45 victories to his name — the most by any captain.

He achieved the feat in 78 matches he’s played as a skipper. He is followed by Uganda’s Brian Masaba in second position with 44 wins in 56 matches.

For Shaheen, the win also saw the pacer bagging 300th international wicket after dismissing three players during Sunday’s match.

The left-arm pacer achieved the feat in 145 matches. He has 113 and 104 wickets to his name in Test and ODI’s, respectively. Whereas in the T20Is, he has dismissed 84 players.

Last but not the least, Rizwan’s unbeaten 75-run knock earned him the player of the match award, which is most by a Pakistan player.

The most POTM for Pakistan Men in T20Is:

Mohammad Rizwan – 12 (95 games)

Shadab Khan – 11 (98 games)

Shahid Afridi – 11 (98 games)

Mohammad Hafeez – 11 (119 games)

Babar Azam – 9 (116 games)

The series decider will be held at the same venue on May 14.
