With April is approaching fast, the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) search for the Pakistan head coach is getting tough every day after both Shane Watson and Daren Sammy decide again accepting the deal.

Quetta Gladiators’ head coach Shane Watson was the first one backing off from the offer despites the board offering whopping $2 million per year.

And now Peshawar Zalmi head coach Darran Sammy has decided to continue with the West Indies team for the ICC T20 World Cup.

Watson returned home on Saturday night after rejecting the offer extended by the board.

He declined the offer, citing his prior commitments as a commentator in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the USA league, along with the desire to spend more time with his young family in Sydney.

With both Sammy and Watson out of contention, the PCB is now expected to consider an interim arrangement for the national team’s supervision during the training camp in Kakul from March 25 to April 8,

The Men in Green will play a five-match T20 series against New Zealand starting from April 14 in Lahore and Rawalpindi.
